Key responsibilities

  • Develop paid search strategies to satisfy and exceed clients goals
  • Collaborate across digital planning teams for cross-channel, integrated marketing solutions
  • Create and manage campaign operations designed around client objectives
  • Campaign budget management and bid optimisation
  • Analyse performance and build client optimisation recommendations on a regular basis
  • Optimise paid search on an on-going basis based upon,
    • ROI goals
    • Historical paid search results
    • Cross tier and regional integration
    • Multiple device search (desktop, mobile, tablet)
  • Build and execute keyword and message test plans
  • Work with engine and technology partners to identify process efficiencies and new communication opportunities
  • Plan and implement online campaigns, including directly with web sites, pay-per-click and search engine programs
  • Create and test tracking mechanisms
  • Work with analytics tools and internal resources to ensure astute reporting and implement enhancements
  • Monitor results and performance and prepare strategic analysis of campaign activities with agency and client teams
  • Create (with agency teams) campaign elements, including banner ads, donation pages, HTML emails and ad copy
  • Coordinate, plan and optimise campaigns
  • Coordinate with agency teams to plan and implement activities in an integrated manner

Responsibilities

  • Keep up to date with paid search advertising trends, techniques and industry related software
  • Implement and manage paid search on Google, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube and Facebook
  • Conduct detailed competitor research
  • Utilise bid management tools and data modelling to maximise the effectiveness of campaigns
  • Collaborate with agency team to ensure all activity is complementary to deliver best possible results
  • Conduct A/B testing to improve and optimise
  • Constantly seek to improve client ROI
  • Monitor campaign results, analyse key metrics, optimise and create and review daily, weekly and monthly reports
  • Build relationships with external representatives from Google, Facebook, etc.
  • Participate in client pitches and monthly status meetings

Personal requirements

  • Passionate about search and internet marketing in its entirety
  • Expert understanding of conversion optimisation
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail, methodical and precise
  • High organisational skills, multitasking capabilities
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with agency teams
  • Inquisitive and thoughtful, with the ability to think out of the box
  • High level verbal and written communication skills
  • Comfortable presenting to and interacting with C-level executives

Experiential requirements

  • Google AdWords certified
  • Strong project management skills required
  • Expert in web analytics tools and reports (Google Analytics)
  • Ability to compile and analyse search data and metrics and make decisions regarding campaigns
  • Ability to perform click through rate, conversion, spend and creative analysis to identify optimisation opportunities
  • Minimum three years’ PPC experience at a reputable search agency
  • HTML and Photoshop skills preferred
  • Experience with Bing Ads
