Award-winning digital, social and PR agency, G&G Digital, is looking for experienced and passionate PR candidates to join our dynamic team. It goes without saying then, that you will need to be a cut above the rest – with the drive, ability and experience to make a difference. Exceptional writing skills are a pre-requisite for consideration. Will work on B2B and B2C brands, and it is essential to have a passion for dealing with media.

Responsibilities

  • Day-to-day management in executing strategic communications plans on multiple divisions
  • Ensuring integration and implementation of strategy across all media channels (digital)
  • Conceptualising story angles and pitching these and new stories and features to the media
  • Overseeing all brief and opportunity management with media
  • Remaining in tune with industry developments and trends, so these can be appropriately leveraged
  • Think strategically and creatively, turning simple ideas into brand focus, ROI-based PR plans
  • Attention to detail is very, very important and deliver strong client relationship services
  • Heading up the entire account and offer more senior support on the account
  • Excellent client liaison skills
  • Must be able to cope under pressure

Key responsibilities

  • Offering the full PR function to the client
  • Understanding social media and how it integrates with PR
  • Drafting and writing press releases
  • Experience with blogger and online influencer outreach
  • Monthly evaluation of publicity achieved
  • Organising product reviews and giveaways
  • Preparation of status reports, evaluation reports, checklists, event proposals, budget controls, etc
  • Submission of press release material with the ability to motivate and follow-up until publicity is achieved
  • Development of strategic communications plans, from client brief – to managing inter-agency meetings

Experiential requirements

  • Experience in an PR agency or client environment
  • Strategic, creative thinker
  • Excellent organisation skills and strong attention to detail
  • Flexible and adaptable attitude and ability to deal with and manage change
  • Good media contacts and relationships
  • Proficient in Excel, Word & PowerPoint
  • Related tertiary qualifications preferable – PR Diploma or Communications degree preferable
  • Significant experience in professional client relationship management
  • A background in advertising, PR, communications, design or marketing
  • Driven toward effective execution and implementation of all projects
  • High levels of resilience and energy and strong multi-tasking capability
  • Ability to work under pressure and find solutions
  • A persuasive and confident approach to creative projects
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Full awareness of creative processes and techniques – including digital platforms
  • Promoting the expansion of business with existing clients
  • Working with other senior managers to generate new accounts
  • Using your skills to push clients, and the agency, creatively and strategically
